The UC Series is EVCSTAR’s flagship DC charger: one floor-standing cabinet, two charging guns and a shared power pool. Instead of fixing half the power to each connector, the cabinet allocates output by demand. A car that arrives at 10 % state of charge can take most of the power, while a car that is nearly full gets only what its battery still accepts.

Where it fits

Choose the UC Series when vehicles stop for less than half an hour and drivers expect a meaningful top-up — highway service areas, corridor hubs, busy urban sites and depots with tight turnaround times. For sites where cars stay longer, the CC Series or HC Series usually make better use of the grid connection.

Two builds, one platform

The European build takes 400 V three-phase input and outputs 150–1000 V DC through CCS2 (or CCS2 + CHAdeMO), from 60 to 300 kW. The North American build takes 480 V three-phase input, outputs 200–1000 V DC, and goes up to 360 kW with CCS1, CHAdeMO or NACS connectors.

Built for exposed sites

The cabinet is rated IP54 / IK10 in the European build and Type 3R / IK10 in the North American build, and it operates up to +55 °C ambient. A 7” touch display, emergency stop and ambient lighting are standard; a 21” screen for advertising can be added.

Site planning & installation

Floor-mounted on a concrete plinth with bottom cable entry.
Size the supply from the input current per phase in the table above, plus margin for cable losses.
Leave space around the cabinet for forced-air cooling and front access for service.
Cable holders on both sides let one cabinet serve two parking bays.

Frequently asked questions

How does power sharing work between the two guns?

The cabinet splits its total output automatically. A single car can draw the full rated power; when a second car connects, power is divided according to what each battery can accept at that moment.

Can I start with a lower power and upgrade later?

The European build uses power modules and can be configured from 60 kW up to 300 kW. Tell us the final target power when ordering so the grid connection and cabinet are prepared for it.

Which connectors are available for North America?

The North American build runs on 480 V three-phase input and is supplied with CCS1 connectors, CCS1 + CHAdeMO, or NACS on request.
