The AM Series is a portable Mode 2 charger: a Type 2 connector, a control box with LCD screen, and a plug for the socket. It replaces the “granny cable” that comes with many cars with something more useful — adjustable current, scheduled charging and a clear display.

Who uses it

Fleets keep one in each vehicle so drivers can charge at customer sites. Dealers and rental companies use them to top up cars on the lot without fixed chargers. And drivers who stay at different places use them where no wallbox exists.

Choose by the socket

Single-phase 16 A models work from a household socket at up to 3.7 kW. 32 A and three-phase models need an industrial CEE socket and go up to 22 kW. Tell us the plug type for your market and we supply the matching version.

Frequently asked questions

Can I charge from a normal household socket?

Yes, with the 16 A single-phase model set to a current the socket can carry continuously. For 32 A or three-phase charging, use a matching industrial socket.

Is a portable charger safe to leave outdoors?

The control box is rated IP65 and the unit has AC and DC leakage protection. Keep the plug connection itself dry and off the ground.
